Shecky's Girls Night Out

This week one  of my friends who is a designer invited me and a few other friends to Shecky's girls night out at the F.I.G [Fashion Industry Gallery] in Downtown. Shecky's is a Girls Night Out event where you can discover unique designers, sip on cocktails and cap the night with glorious Goodie Bags! My friend Shana has her own company called Clothes Minded and had a stall selling all her beautiful clothing. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from her line:

Fashion's Night Out

A few weeks ago me and my girl friends went to Fashion's Night Out to see what the fashion retailers in Dallas had to offer in comparison to NYC and all the other major cities that were also participating. We were amazed at the turn out at Galleria Mall, there were so many Dallas fashionistas strolling the mall and almost each store had some kind of cool deal going on for the special occasion. There were cocktails at almost all the department stores, so of course with a drink in one hand and our plastics in the other it was game time for us girls.

After hours of shopping and fun with my girls, I came to realize I have a new problem.
So any and everyone who knows me knows I have a major shopping problem...but honestly which girl in their early 20's doesn't have a tendency to buy something they don't need? Lately, however my new major shopping craze has been with NARS blushes and Bobbi Brown lipsticks. The second I stepped into Sephora and Saks I went delirious over everything I saw. But honestly there's something about these particular make up that I can't get over. Each and every blush that NARS has is amazing and I can somehow find an excuse to wear them anywhere, and same goes with the Bobbi Brown lipsticks. The colors are unique and somehow are suitable for anyone at anytime.

 My most recent favorite purchases are these two, Nars Blush & Bobbi Brown's lipstick to have the ultimate girly lipstick blush duo:

 While shopping we were entertained by the DJ's spinning at the center of the mall while cocktail hostesses were serving drinks around the mall.

After shopping we decided to go to Sfuzzi's in Uptown for some drinks, pizza and of course music!
