Fried Chicken Dumplings

Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken


Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken

The chicken coating:

3-4 boneless chicken breasts
salt + pepper
1 cup cornstarch
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup canola oil

The sweet and sour sauce:

3/4 cup sugar
4 tbs ketchup
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp garlic salt

Start by preheating your oven to 325 degrees. Rinse your chicken breasts in water and then cut into cubes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Dip chicken into the cornstarch to coat then dip into the eggs.  Heat your 1/4 cup oil in a large skillet and cook your chicken until browned but not cooked through. Place the chicken in a 9x13 greased baking dish. Mix all of your sweet and sour sauce ingredients in a bowl with a whisk and then pour evenly over the chicken. Bake for one hour and during the baking process you will need to turn the chicken every 15 minutes.

Ingredients

2 TBSP water
3/4 lb beef sirloin steak

1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups chopped broccoli
1 pkg Sunbird Beef and broccoli seasoning mix prepared in 3/4 cup water.


Directions

1. Heat water in skillet over high heat. Add meat and cook until no longer pink.
2. Add vegetables and cook until tender crisp--about 1 min
3. Add seasoning mix, cook and stir--about 1 min.

Stir Fry Veggies with Shrimp

Stir Fry Veggies with shrimp

Ingredients


  • 1 package (3/4 ounce) Sun-Bird® Stir Fry Seasoning Mix
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 white onion, sliced into 1/4 inch slices
  • 2 cups of snap peas
  • 1/2 cup of baby corn
  • 2 carrots cut into matchstick size slices
  • 1 1/4 pounds broccoli florets cut into bite size pieces

Directions

1.Blend together seasoning mix, soy sauce, sugar and water; set aside
2. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil. Add meat and stir fry over medium high heat until browned.
3. Add vegetables and continue to stir fry until meat is done.
4. Add seasoning mixture and continue cooking about 1 minute or until sauce is thickened.


Green Beans

Ingredients:
1lb fresh green beans (washed with strings removed and ends trimmed)
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root (minced)
1 garlic clove (minced)
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
½ teaspoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon sesame oil
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
vegetable oil (for frying)

Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Place beans into a vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam for 5 minutes. When finished drain and dump beans into cold water and drain once again.
Step 2: Add oil to the wok and add garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds. Add beans and sauté for about 5 minutes.
Step 3:  Combine 2 tablespoons of water with cornstarch, soy sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes and sesame oil and mix well.
Step 4: Add mixture to beats and stir fry for 30 seconds to a minute.

Shrimp Fried Rice

Shrimp Fried Rice 

Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
3 green onions, sliced
3 cups of cold cooked rice
1 package of Sun-Bird Fried Rice Seasoning
2 Tablespoons of Soy sauce 
3 eggs, beaten 
1 small onion
1 cup frozen carrots
1 cup cooked shrimp
Heat oil in large skillet; add rice, onions and green onions. Stir-fry until heated through. Add Sun-Bird Fried Rice Seasoning Mix and soy sauce; stir-fry 1 min. 
Push rice mixture to side of skillet; add eggs to the center of the skillet and scramble. Stir egg into rice mixture. Stir in carrots and shrimp; stir-fry until heated through.
